Teaching Assistant Jobs

Hi,

I have just recently qualified as a teaching assistant nvq level 2. Since September of last year i was volunteering at a primary school working with key stage one and key stage two. In the last three months i have been employed by the same school to work one to one with a child in year 6 who has learning difficulties .This child is now set to start secondary school in September and there are no more hours. Can you please explain how working for an agency works I would like to work in the afternoons 1pm-3.30 everyday, what is the usual rate of pay and how much notice would you give.
